Meet Nancy

Head Shot

We all reach points in our lives when we need to talk with someone who is trained in how to listen, someone who can help us make sense of what may feel like a whirling mix of thoughts and emotions. Anxiety or depression can be triggered by life stressors like ongoing work stress or relationship issues. You might be grieving a painful loss of someone you loved deeply. You might be struggling with a traumatic experience or history, or you could simply feel a nagging urge to make a change in your life. You may need support as you go through a breakup or divorce, deal with a health crisis, graduate from school, or deal with issues of aging or end of life.

I’ve guided people through all of these issues, and others. I give you a place to slow down and discover what you are truly thinking and feeling. We’ll work together to clarify what you want and what has been holding you back from reaching it. I teach my clients how to be kind and compassionate with themselves while they learn new tools that open more possibilities for their lives. I believe deeply in my clients, and I am inspired every day by their strength, determination, and courage.

My job as your therapist is to create a safe, encouraging place for you to grow as you are ready. By listening fully to your story, asking the right questions, and giving honest, supportive feedback, I can help you to tap into the wisdom that is already there inside of you.
